Strange problem with Fonts

As the title says. I cannot remove a file called tahoma. I guess this is the font that Vista uses?

I recently installed Left 4 Dead and later uninstalled it. There was one folder named fonts that didn't got deleted. It contained fonts like arial, verdana and tahoma. I managed to delete all of them in safe mode except tahoma.

I know that you shouldn't delete fonts that the system is using but there is something wierd because it's not in my "fonts folder" from the controlpanel. And the fonts that I deleted succefully (verdana and arial etc.) is still in that folder, tahoma is also there so that's why I'm guessing that I could delete that the tahoma font in my left 4 dead folder without it causing my system any problems.

Can anyone help me find a solution to this problem? Sry if my english isn't perfect.

Have you uninstalled left 4 dead?
If so try ccleaner.

Thanx for the tips. I've treid to use ccleaner and I have full ownership of the file.

It still says "This program is beeing used by another program"

Strange indeed. Isn't there any other way to remove a file.

Hello,
I have same problem after uninstalling this game :huh:. In addition all system fonts ( Tahoma) gone Bold and thats annoying :shock:. And my friend have same problem on WindowsXP..

I have a similar problem -- I discovered a bumnch (50 or so) of new typefaces in my fonts folder - most of them have chinese names. I immediately thought I had been botted and went through all kinds of steps to detect it - no sign of a problem, but the fonts may have been loaded in the past sometime. They are all owned by "Trusted Installer". I can change ownership by going through a painful permission process in the font properties dialog, but after I own them and try to delete them the same message comes up, "This file is being used by another program". How can I get rid of these fonts which are hogging my memory? And how can I get "Trusted Installer" status so I can delete them in bulk?
