i am having a problem with a file called wow 6432 the registry cleaner that i am using is listing 100 of them as being in valid. have gone to the edit registry
to see it there are more than one listed ( just the one file is there). does any one
know how to fix this problem :mad:

Sure. Stop using registry cleaners, unless you like re-installing windows every couple weeks.

Hello Ka2, and welcome to Vista Forums.

This tutorial will show you how to check and see of you need to fix that problem with registry cleaners, but having just 100 invalid entries by itself is not a problem with the registry cleaning program. It's just how many invalid entries it found in the registry.

In addition to Peter's post, you really need to be carefull in what you allow a registry cleaner program to delete. If it deletes the wrong registry entry, you could end up reinstalling Vista if you did not have a undo option in the registry cleaner.

I do not know what program you are using, but I have found that the free Wise Registry Cleaner to be a great and safe program to use. I have not had any problems with anything it found to remove.
