Remove separators in Right Panel Start Menu?

I want to remove the separators in the right panel on the Start Menu. Is there a way? I don't want to install any 3rd party themes or Start Menu program (like ViStart) to do it either.

Hi Pharaoh,

Sorry, but this cannot be done without using a 3rd party program. The separators are built-in to the start menu template file, although they are moveable dependant on what you choose to appear there. They serve to separate the menu into groups of related options.

So then how can we modify the template file?
