Windows Vista backup system

I did a complete backup on my computer and the restore would not work.
I am left with zipped compressed files on my external hard drive. Does anyone know how to unzip these files without having to do each file one at a time?

Help!!

You can use 7-zip to extract all the files by selecting all of them at the same time then right click then under 7zip goto extract files. here is the link.
