Host Process Rundll32 has stopped working

i am getting the "rundll32 has stopped working" error whenever i try to open "Window Color and Appearance," "Theme," and "Display Settings"...for some reason when I turned on my laptop, the vista theme reverted back to classic windows and even the sidebar looks funny and i got the error as i tryed to open these to fix the appearance

what do i do?

i have the same problem,
