Please do not power off or unplug machine

I am running Vista Ultimate 32bit, I started getting this message yesterday and it says " Installing update 1 of 4 " and I havn't seen anything happening at all, what do I do or what is going on?

I would like some help please.

Hi Coco,

Does the circle animation keep spinning while its updating?

Let it do it's thing. it's updating. but it's a bigger update that cannot be installed while the operating system is running so it installs it just before shutdown. Don't worry, it's very normal. however if you haven't seen anything happening at all... how long has it been doing this?

i have the same issue, its now over 12 hours, and nothing seems 2b happening, the spinning device is still spinning.... i am installing update 1 of 5

i was thinking about power if off, but then i would have to restart the whole thing all over again. what else can i do but wait?,.,,,, please help
