I recently suffered a had disk failure and therefore used the vista baskup utility to backup my complete hard drive. This morning, upon return of my repaired laptop I have restored the contents of the backup.
It seems to have copied everything over however I cannot access my program file. Although I can see the program files on my hard disk (such as word, photoshop, my antivirus and other freeware stuff that I have downloaded from the internet) I cannot actually run any of these programs. Am I doing something wrong or do i need to re-install all of the program files again manually.
