Most often when I boot, CHKDSK starts then this message comes up:
Checking file system on C:
The type of the file system is NTFS.
Volume label is OS
One of your disks needs to be checked for consistency. You may cancel ....
...Windows will now check the disk
CHKDSK is verifying files (Stage 1 of 3)...
Deleting CORRUPT ATTRIBUTE RECORD (4653104," ")
from file record segment 169548.
then it goes on with the boot....
My question is, i just bought this laptop dell 1530 with windows vista home premium 32bit. Is there something wrong with it?
i forgot to add, the deleting process takes about 10 minutes before it goes on with the boot... so annoying!
