found corrupt files with sfc /scannow

okay found corrupt files when I ranView attachment 6215 sfc /scannow
Also found the same thing when i went to use vista glazz to patch upView attachment 6216

and I cant provide the cbs log that scannow provided me, b/c I don't know what info is relevant

The corrupt files are probably the replaced dlls via the patch that were done when u installed the 3rd party theme. If it aint part of the original windows, it will spew out your scannow as a corrupt system. Suggest you undo the theme and see if that fixes it.

nope, used revo uninstaller and ran the scan again no luck

yes, but the vista glazz was installed on my computer way before i ever had these problems,and i ran the check fine yesterday, and i did it again, today b/c i was doing monthly maintaince, and come up with this. I wasn't too worried about, and saw vista glazz, realized i hadn't used it in awhile and their might be updates, when i opened the program that is what it gave me, I just figured that its telling me the same thing sfc is. Yes, i have done a sys restore but to no avail. Also, I've been cruising the forums and it seems like a lot of other people are having the same problem i am, and to fix it i am going to have to do a repair install grrrrr! maybe!

Yer, sounds like you will have to. Uxtheme.dll etc, are the modified patches I believe...thats obviously the problem thats indicated by the printout.

thats ODD i wiped my cbs log so i could managed it better, rescanned, got the same message about corrupted files and cannot fix; well now i can't find an error in the cbs log at all
