When you open a folder, all the items in it...

When you open a folder, all the items in it are displayed by list. Is it possible to make it so that they are automatically displayed by Large Icons instead? Or am I stuck with always having to right-cick then change it everytime I open a new folder?

No, no. I want it so that I view folders automatically by Large Icons. Your way is just the same way I described in my first post. It only changes it for one folder at a time.

What you need to do is change the view to how you want, including such items as columns, etc, then do the following:
  1. Click "Organize"
  2. Click "Folder and Search Options"
  3. Open the "View" tab
  4. Click Apply to all folders
  5. Click OK

So now, even if I make a new folder it will display by Large Icons, or does this work only for currently existing folders?
