Well I am sure someone has asked this before but I have found multiple different answers and want to be sure not to mess up my system.

We moved to Germany about 5 months ago and we were in need of a new laptop. Without thinking twice I went down to the computer store and picked on up with Vista Home Premium. Never thinking that I would not be able to switch it to English without and issue. Well no I have an issue :(

Here is what I have found. Both of these websites claim to either have the LIP or an easy way to convert without VISTA Ultimum. Can someone verify for me that these sites are valid and it will not place a virus on my system.

LIP is trustable, but they don't have an English LIP, which is ******** in my opinion.

I wouldn't trust anything to change languages in Home Premium or Business, because there has to be SOMETHING wrong with it.

have you try to ask if they have or can they change it in english version of vista. most of the store specially in non-english country have their own versions of vista. but they also have windows vista in english. well, i dont know if they will have addditional charge..:sarc:

If you do decide to go with the upgrade to Vista Ultimate, you can google site:microsoft.com vista anytime upgrade - Google Search= go to the vista anytime upgrade site to do it online. (I woulda given you the URL for the anytime site, but I can only get to the Canadian one...).
