Hi All,
Today my Vista system "auto"-rebooted at some point (about 8 hours ago) and I have been trying to gt it working again since.
Tried everything, restore points, repair from original DVD, msconfig variouos configs, the full monthy, nothing seems to work (even tried rebuilding the bootrecord etc)
As a last resort I can reinstall Vista but maybe one of you guys have an idea!
In the ntbtlog.txt i see that the last driver nstalled seems to be CDFS.sys but when disconnecting the DVD-RAM and DVD-rom's nothing happens.
The system boots normally in BIOS, I get the bar that Vista is starting and when that's done I get a black screen (no pointer) and then it just seems to stop.
I have a Asus P5E, 4Gb Corsair RAM, Geforce a few 360Gb drives and 2 DVD's.
Thanks for sharing your ideas on this one,
Bart
