Recently changed shortcut?

Hi all, new to the forum... I recently tried to click on my " recently changed" link on the left side of my documents screen, and got this messege, " The item " recently changed.search-ms" that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this short cut will no longer work properly. Do you wish to delete this short cut?"
I dont remember deleteing it, and was wondering if anyones seen this before. I'm not really sure if I need this shortcut, but was just wondering if I messed something up inadvertantly. I just recently added a 1TB HDD, but I dont think that had anything to do with the missing shortcut. I have a tendency to do a "delete sweep" in what I thought were like the old temp files...didnt realize this was a shortcut to actual files. Should I try to get the reently changed short cut working again?

Hi, Blaydrnnnr, and welcome to the forums.

First of all, you did not delete the files you recently opened - you deleted a search that runs and keeps a list of files recently opened.

Second, when you added the new HD, did you by chance manually move any of your special folders, like Desktop, or Saved Searches (usually found in C:\Users\{username}\ folder)?

No, I didnt move anything into the new HD, it was set up as logical, ( storage only ) not set up with a partition in case I wanted to use it as a bootable disk. I was just wondering why I cant access recently changed anymore, getting the above messege everytime I click on it.

Can you detail the contents of the Searches folder in your User folder?
