Scan Disk lower time

How can I lower Sheduled Scan disk timeout,for example from 10 sec to 5 sec.
(no in command prompt)
Is there any registry hack for this in Vista.
AutoPatcher for XP have this hack

Autopatcher uses a setup script to run most of the options you selected during the install, this is the same command in DOS...

chkntfs.exe/T:5 --- 5 is the amount of wait time

Does is permanent command or I have to type every time when I check disk?
