Help!! Cannot restart vista installation

I Just got a new computer and upon first turning it on my daughter accidentally hit the button on my power strip turning the computer off mid-installation. Now when I turn on my computer it looks as if windows is trying to start but goes to a message stating "Windows could not complete the installation. To install windows on this computer, restart the installation." I then click "OK" and it just brings me back to the same message after re-starting. Could anyone please help me get this thing back on track??

P.S. I am running (or trying to run) Windows Vista Home Premium.

I'm not exactly sure what a Recovery Partition is...

Hello,

A Recovery Partition is a "built in" way to restore to the original factory condition.
Sort of a last resort! Look in the documentation to find out.

Well heck....I guess I am going to have to get a Vista disc to get this thing going. What a pain in the butt this has been. I have a brand new computer and cannot even use it. Thanks for your help BFK, I do really appreciate it.

Sweet Georgia Brown, I think I just fixed it by going into "System Restore" and restoring it back to the original factory settings....It seems to be starting ok now and going through all the stuff it did b4...Pray for me fellah's
