A friend heard through the grapevine that I had previously downloaded the standalone Vista SP1 packages (both EXE and ISO versions), and doesn't want to waste precious bandwidth downloading it himself, so he asked me to install it for him on his Acer Travelmate 4200 with Windows Vista Business x86.
Trouble is, I've tried 5 times already, and it fails on each occasion. I tried the advice that Microsoft provides after (using the link they provided in the failure dialog), and still no go.
As anyone else who is perhaps using the Travelmate 4200 had a similar issue, and how did you resolve it?
