Greetings to All!
I am trying my hand at video editing with no success.
(Vista 64, Sp1).
When I attempt to move a file from the contents pane to the storyboard, the system freezes, screen whites out and I get the message, "Movie Maker has stopped responding." I have imported video from a Sony HVR-A1P (P for PAL, the -A1U if its NTSC.) All files, 13 gb per hour, appear, so I am sure it is DV format. It plays in the preview screen without a glitch. There are no filters listed in the compatibility tab in either normal or safe mode, so nothing to uncheck as per Microsofts recommendation. I have uninstalled Nero 7 and Company of Heroes on the chance they were creating some conflict. This is a clean install on a new OS. Here is the data, which is beyond me...
