I purchased a HP Pavillion DV2222tx laptop computer that came with Windows Vista Home Premium installed on it. I then purchased Vista Business and installed without making a backup/recovery disk. I now want to put it back to it's factory condition and get Vista Home Premium back on it but can not seem to find how to do it.
There is still 4.46GB of HP_RECOVERY on D:/ that you can not see what is on it. Can anyone please help me to get it back to factory. I have tried pressing F11 repeatedly on startup - that did nothing, tried repeatedly pressing F8 as well - couldn't work that one out and just do not know what to do now.
When I installed Business it has taken away the Recovery Manager and I don't know what to do...
If you have the Product Key Number for your Vista Home Premium edition, then you can use your retail Vista Business installation DVD to select and install Home Premium using it.
