Hello everyone, as you can see this is my first post. Ive been looking for a forum such as this one to get help with vista for a while now and i looks like i found a good set of guys. Heres my System before i start spitting out questions.
-Windows Home Premium 32 Bit
-ATI Radeon x1300 (I know old school)
-2 GB Ram
-Integrated Sound
-Try my best on latest drivers
Anyway, on to business. I downloaded the Alienware theme kit from the alienware website. Being a hasty person, i didnt check the requirements or anything to that effect. I installed and wala, my computer turned into the old school 98 Windows Classic look if you will. I quickly went into my computer changed themes and un-installed the theme pack. I was back in the Vista theme but all my Icons were totally different than they were before, for example: My notepad icon, which was a regular notepad vista 3d style. Now it is this printer icon
Another Example: My Jpg files and other photos used to all have a icon from cs2, the white thing with the file format right there, now my jpg looks like one of these
My GIF files are the same but red. And others are screwed up too, but i dont have the time to photograph all of them.
If anyone could help fix this, possibly without a restore (i dont want to re clean up my desktop and re do the stuff that i did), that would be REALLY GREAT.
