Just cured a problem, and now another one
Well, I had the user profile service failed error, and I fixed it through this:
Nigels blog - of things tech: Fixing User Profiles in Vista . I did what it says, and after removing the .bak, each time I log into my account, it's a brand new one, all empty with my files gone, but when I go into program files and check users and go on my account folder, the files that I had are still there, so why when I go on documents through it on my 'new blank profile' nothings there, yet they are in the accounts folder?
Is there any fix to this? I want to fix it as soon as possible. I have tried re-adding the .bak, but nothing happens

You can try creating a new Administrator user account to see if it works better. If so, you can delete the old user account from within the new one. Just be sure to select
Keep Files so you will have a copy of the old user accounts user folders on the deaktop of the new account. See frame 6 here:

I think it would be you best option for long term stability, the profile failed originally for a reason. Safest bet would be create a fresh account, copy your stuff over then delete the old account.

It's the only one that I know of when you have a corrupted user account without doing a reinstall. You will not lose any programs. Just the shortcuts for them will need to be replaced.

I am glad I've only just got this pc, so there aint too many new files to copy, if this happened on my older pc (which it wouldn't have anyway as it was XP) I would have had to move tonnes of files.
It shouldn't take you long, as long as you remember the 3 golden commands lol
