Problems: FEAR Comabt and 3DMark06

Hey, whenver I try to open the FEAR Combat installation file it just takes ages with the loading circle but nothing opens. I get the UAC dark screen message to continue but nothing else.

Also with 3DMark06, it asks for me to install DX9c??? I have the latest dx so whats up with that?

woo I worked it out. The installation files took like 10 minutes to open, but then it was fine! and 3dmark06 just needed the patch to be installed and it was fine.

Maybe my hdd is just slow or broken... (160gb seagate sata)
