My laptop has lost some of its programs including all the original games and messenger shortcut. There is no back up disc although I have a back up for another model running the same system. The problem started over a year ago and system restore only offers me a date about a month ago. HELP!

Did you remember what was happened to your pc since your last System Restore ? or what made you lost all your data ? as far as I know if you lost them by accident etc. pc crash or virus I think you should reinstall everything from fresh start
