DEP error not allowing gameplay
I recently installed The Sims 3 on my roommates' HP computer. Vista Home Premium. Everything was working wonderfully until the game suddenly crashed and the computer told me that something called DEP was preventing the game from working properly for security reasons or whatever, so I took the steps necessary to add The Sims 3 to my exceptions list under DEP and received this message:
"This program must run with data execution protection(DEP) enabled. You cannot turn off DEP for this program."
Umm, why not!
Is there anyway to get passed that? I think it's the fact that TS3 requires a lot of memory and maybe that freaks DEP out but I know that it's safe so it needs to chill out and let me play my game.

Disable the DEP altogether. I don't remember how to do it exactly, but if you look it up on Google I'm sure you'll find the method.
