Battlefield 2, playing alone in multi-player mode

Hi there.
I have a battlefield 2 game and i cant play online. the single player is with only 16 bots and small maps.
so i tried playing multiplayer with more bots but the game wont start until another player joins 2, so i wanna know if there is a way i can play the multiplayer mode with no need for another person.

I really wanna start playing it so eagerly waiting for your replies.

i believe there are a few mods for the game at Strategy Informer: Feeding your games addiction
hope i spelled that right. just look for AI or BOT mod or something like that. I had that game and it worked. You pick which one idk which one it is any more.

I'm assuming you've downloaded a pirated version of the game?

I don't want to accuse him of pirating the game, nor would I be upset or angry if he did. It just seems strange why he wouldn't just play online with other players, and he said he needed another player to join, so it seemed a bit suspicious to me.

Nah its alright i understand, i wanna play the game when i am on my way to uni which takes about 2 to 3 hours (no internet of course)and i am tired of the 16player single player, i wanted big maps and more bots. thats why i was asking.

I played Bf 2 a long time ago but i knew how ot change it,
the script o b 2 is really easy (python), try t oind AI.(idk anymore)and open it with notepad inside this file there should be something like
REM............
REM...............
REM.............
if you loo karound in the file you see that the number o bots is 16 and the difficult 0.4
change it to the number of bots you like (there's a max of bots you can support)
hope tis helps alil bit.

That is to increase bots in multiplayer mode, which you cannot play without having another player and that wht I was asking about.

Looks like there is no solution.

erm am i missing something here? just play the single player it has 16 bots , and use the info already given to increase the number of bots to whatever you like , although you have to remember the more bots the more cpu load so the less fps
