Hello everyone!
So, today i bought my first laptop with windows vista on it. The configuration is as follows:
Toshiba Satellite P505D-S8935
AMD Turion™ X2 Dual-Core Mobile Processor RM-74, 4GB DDR2 800MHz, 18.4" widescreen HD+ with TruBrite® Technology 1680x945 (HD+) ATI® Radeon™ HD 3200 256MB-1662MB,HDD 400GB, DVD-SuperMulti (+/-R double layer) with Labelflash, Webcam and microphone, Realtek® 802.11b/g/n wireless LAN, 3-USB (2.0), 1-eSATA/USB (2.0) , Windows Vista® Home Premium (SP1, 64-bit)
As I am a fan of videogames, i tried installing a few after i have updated my video drivers only to be disapointed... I have instaled Prototype, Sins of a Solar Empire and Torchling. They all had the same problem - parts of the screen were filled with tilting squares and lines just as shown in the picture below.
I tried to start S.o.a.S.E with compatability mode, but then i didnt even get to the intro page (the game froze). I managed to start Torchlight with compatability mode (Windows XP SP 2) but the problem was still there.
Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thank you all!
Peace! :D
