I recently replaced my display driver and can no longer access any of the pre-loaded Vista games. When I try to open solitaire, hearts, etc. all I get is a quick flash on my monitor. Any ideas or suggestions?

which is most likely why your having issues
Graphics Drivers & Software
uninstall yuor old ones through control panel first then reboot then install new ones
if you still have issues come back and we can explain how to use a driver cleaner in safemode , i dont think it'll be necessary at this point

Get rid of Driver Robot. You can get driver updates free of charge directly from the manufacturers website.

I couldn't get the downloads from the manufacturer's website. They show my driver as now using legacy driver and support structure without listing how to access it.

they are optional mate but with ATI the catalyst control center is often linked to the driver jjust like the NVidia control panel
download the first link the FULL suite
download and install driver sweeper and READ THE INSTRUCTIONS
Guru3D - Driver Sweeper
uninstall your old ati drivers and your old catalyst control center via add remove programs
boot INTO SAFEMODE
run and execute driver sweeper as per the instructions
reboot into windows and install the FULL Catalyst control suite
reboot as prompted
once again apologies for that spyware link i should have checked it out , its been years since ive had ATI i just assumed the first link was them
