Will i be able to run Sims 3

Well im hoping to buy Sims 3 June 2nd and im wondering if i can run it i got a pretty good hp pavilion laptop. More info:

Windows edition: Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2
Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard
Model: Hp Pavilion dv6700 notebook PC
Processor: AMD turion(tm) 64 x2 mobile technology Tl -60 2.00 GHz
Memory (RAM) : 3.00 GB
System type : 32-bit operating system
i can run most games like Maplestory,Runescape,WoW
So Do you think i can run it? Also do i need any other sims versions to play?

i noticed it is required windows vista service pack 1 and i have service pack 2 (since i use windows update daily) will it still work ?

---usually the game MINIMUM requirements suggestion is just that, minimum---and if you are upgraded (like I am also daily), then it should be better to use, since it IS a new game---BUT double check with the store when you buy it, as I also do before I buy a game---/some of the OLD games used 'Windows-98' and will NOT play on a new pc, so I threw some of them out, no sense donating them either/---
