ok alot of threads regarding old gpu's on 64 bit systems and fair enough some work well enough to run some of the glitsy bits of vista 64 but some aren't even compatable
when you consider what you are doing hoping an old gpu that shouldn't be used for new games ie ati 2000 or nvidia 6000 series cards and then expecting to play eve online at 20 fps or crysis at 10 on a 32 bit system on either of the range is asking a hell of alot from a card that just isn't up to it bareing in mind that alot of these cards don't have 64 bit drivers for them and probably aren't even turned on in your system bios.
my point is if you are running a 64 bit system and you can't play games or your system is sluggish and you are running an old gpu (for some weird reason) think about changing it.
system compatability is directly linked to performance in as many ways as how good your equipment is.
