COD 4 emulation issue

When ever I try to mount COD4 onto virtual drive in Vistax64 using various emulation apps ( they all do the same thing) it just mounts it to the drive, doesn't bring up the auto run and when I try to run the setup.exe manually it just says that the program you are trying to install is not compatible with this version of windows.
Yet I thought COD4 was compatible with x64.
Any ideas?
