Heros of Might & Magic II - Keeps Crashing on Laptop

Hi

I have recently bought Heros of Might & Magic II and have successfully installed it on my laptop but everytime I try to play the game it crashes and I have to open Windows Task Manager to end the Program is it is not responding. I have tried it on my PC which also has windows and it runs fine. Also I have the demo of this game on my laptop which runs fine.

Can anyone advise me on how I can stop the program crashing on my latop please?

Try updating video cards, reinstalling program, updating computer.

Thanks, I have tried to install Windows Updates but I am getting the following error in Control Panel -> Windows Update:

"Some updates were not installed

Failed:1 update

Error(s) found:
Code80244019 Windows Update encountered an unknown error."

Do you know how to fix this error so I can install updates? (I have turned my firewall off but get the same error!!)

Try googling the error code. Also, try a system restore

The memory speed might not be sufficeint in the laptop or
does not catch up the processor requirements
