Gears Of War for Windows in game problem
I have a seriuos and annoying problem with a new Gears of War for Windows game I just bought. It took me 45min to install and I even downloaded all the updates and TU.exe patches there are. When I first start the game and after the first cinematic with the little creatures scratching at the cage, I finally get control and the camera positioned on the character I am in control of starts going around in circles for no reason. When I try to move forward the camera spins even faster and the character also doesn't move. If anyone knows what might be wrong, please help...
What are you using to control the player mouse and keyboard or 360 controller. I had problems with using the kb and mouse and then I started using the 360 controller and it was fine. I also tried changing the setting in the mouse to no avail.

I am using the KB an Mouse. I only changed the quality settings so I might need to know where "no avail" is.
In options then control settings then kb and mouse settings.

what is this setting meant to do?
To change how the mouse and kb acts for example to make the camera move faster when moving the mouse, and to customize the keys pressed for the desired action. Just play around with the settings for the mouse until it works the way you want.

I tried to vary it and see how it changes the game play, but it is the same. Do I have to get another copy because this one might just have something wrong with it?
No I think it a bug when they ported it over to pc I would go and get the 360 controller for windows from your local retailer.

I'll just do that because this problem is annoying just testing it out.
Post back if you have anymore problems. Also welcome to the forums.

I have to say that you can't go wrong with the XBox 360 Controller for Windows, I use it alot and its the perfect controller, but make sure you go here for the update from Microsoft, I'm assuming you are getting the cord one, anyway the link I have given is for the 64-Bit version of Vista and for the controller with cord :D
Microsoft Gaming Hardware - Download Software
I know I needed the update for the Rumble to work, it took me an age to find this update when I needed it
Welcome also
