my all game cannot play suddenly brcause directx problem(etc:warcraft 3,cod 4 .....)

when i click the warcraft it will said 'warcraft 3 wan unable to initialize DirectX.please ensure you have DirectX 8.1 or newer installed and that your display driver are curent. DirectX may be found on your warcraft 3 install cd under options.' but my warcraft 3 is not install , me copy my friends warcraft file and paste on my computer i will be work ,but suddenly have prroblem come ,me have install the DirectX 10. but still cannot, can anyone can tell me how to fix it???

Install DirectX 9. i believe DirectX 10 will still be there, but wont be used.
