Here is my system (all parts included for x64 driver thoughts..)
Asus Striker Extreme -FOUR (aka the 4th One i had replaced)
Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 (OC to 3.60 ghz)
4 Gig ocz flex 9200 Ram
74 gig WD Raptor (OS/Utils)
300 Gig WD Secondary drive (games etc on it)..
Soundblaster X-fi
2 x EVGA GeForce 8800 Ultra's (SLI on and off for Dual Monitors)
2 x Samsung 245BW 24" LCD's 5ms 1920x1200 res
Now this is basically my #1 gaming rig, but i also use it for business (vpn, realvnc, yadda yadda).. Last night my x32 ate itself thanks to a massive malware attack (thanks NOD for detecting it so horribly)...
anyway, as u can see i have a 4 gig system (4x1) and the machine plays the following games mostly:
CS:Source
Team Fortress 2
COD4
GRID
Tiger Woods 08
Madden 08
NHL 08
So my dilemma is.. should i reload x32, or take the leap and go the x64 route.. My video cards should be fast enough so that if there is a performance hit it wont be too noticable i would imagine..
I need feedback to help me feel better about this transition...
(also note my old Pentium-4 EE as my backup business machine)
