Before doing this, my 64-Bit exe would hang before the main menu.
1). Launch the game using the 32-bit executable first
2). Settings/Advanced - Set Post Processing to High (HUGE FPS Gain no matter the resolution - I game with crysis @ 1680x1050 16:10 22" WS )
3). Now choose your normal resolution
4). Launch a new game atleast once, then exit
5). Now open 64-Bit executable and you can do 64-Bit
Now it works!
This one didn't work for me, but others have had success
If that doesn't work for you, then try this:
1). Launch the 32-Bit application first
2). Goto options "uncheck fullscreen" and save then exit
3). Launch the 64-Bit version
ALWAYS CREATE A SHORTCUT TO YOUR DESKTOP!!!!
RIGHT CLICK AND CHOOSE "RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR"
Just thought I would post some workarounds for those having trouble getting the game to run.
Crysis Rig: Built to last 3-5 years
Lian Li PC-65B PC Case
Asetek Lightspeed Sub Zero Cooling (E6850 @ 4.2Ghz)
E-VGA 680i SLI A1 Motherboard
E-VGA 8800GTX ACS3 KO Edition
4 Gigabytes of OCZ SLI Ready 1066Mhz memory (Max OC)
Samsung 226BW 22" LCD Display 16:10 Widescreen
XFI Extreme Music Audio Card
Logitech G7 Laser Mouse
Saitek X-45 Flight System
Logitech MOMO Force Feedback Racing System
Plextor 760A DVD Burner
500Gb Seagate Hard Drive
74Gb Western Digital Raptor
If my rig can't run crysis something is seriously wrong
