Vista 64bit Digital Signature.

Hi all,

I read an article on Microsoft website and found that I need to create digital signature to install any drivers.

I follow WDK selfsign example command, I cannot successfuly invoke on command. The command is:
certmgr.exe -add testcert.cer -s -r localMachine root

Assume that I am running at testcert.cer directory. Vista complains it cannot save the destinational storename. Does anyone encounter this problem when you work on vista 64bit platform.

heres what i used and it worked ok

The following example shows how to add the test certificates to the Trusted Root certificate store and the Trusted Publishers certificate store on the target test machine.
certmgr.exe -add OutputFile.cer -s -r localMachine root
certmgr.exe -add OutputFile.cer -s -r localMachine trustedpublisher

The arguments to the Certificate Manager Tool (Certmgr_ in the example do the following:
-add
Adds the certificate in the certificate file to a certificate store.
-s
Indicates the certificate store is a system store.
-r
Indicates that the registry location of the system store is under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE key.
Root or trustedpublisher
Indicates the name of the system certificate store.
