z3r010,
Thanks for the suggestion! I downloaded the "Zebra Universal Driver v5.5.7.19" and also " ZebraDesigner Driver (Compatible with Windows Vista)".
However, neither would install on my x64 system. The Universal Driver shows a list of printers to install, appears to install some driver files, but after selecting the port, I get a "The environment specified is invalid" error and that's that.
The ZebraDesigner driver (supposedly Vista compatible) doesn't even show a list of printers in the setup program. If I use the standard "Add a printer", I'm told the driver folder doesn't contain a compatible driver.
The interesting part is, that in the "prnlist.txt" file that accompanies the driver, the very first line is this:
"Windows Drivers for ZDesigner(Windows 2000, XP, 2003, XP 64-bit, 2003 64-bit)".
<rant> I don't see why there would be
any difference between an XP 64bit printer driver and a Vista 64bit printer driver. I mean, we're not talking a cluster raid driver, it's just a printer!

</rant>
sorry...
I will continue my search and if I find something, I'll post here.
