Need help installing updating Atheros AR5B91 Network Adapter

I have tried several times to update my Wireless network Adapter but each time i get this problem, and it shows no wireless networks


I have the same problem like this guy

I can get back to my old version, but if I back to the latest version I cannot find any internet options once

My computer specs

are in the dxdiag

And my modern is a D-Link, d-link w2310

I've tried switching the modem off and on, and still doesn't find the internet, But i can roll back to my previous software this is the one I'm trying to update

The one which says "22 Nov 2012
10.0.0.221"

Since, I can't update it using my device manager (says It's the latest version, while when I go to drivermax it says theres a update for the firmware of my modem/router

Can anyone call me? It would help me a lot, I can go back to my C:\Users\Owner\Desktop\08.WLAN bgn_Atheros_T60H976_T77H053_XB63_XB91_v7.6.1.162_Vistax32x64_WHQL.zip\08.WLAN bgn_Atheros_T60H976_T77H053_XB63_XB91_v7.6.1.162_Vistax32x64_WHQL

Good thing is I can roll back anytime I want


AND I was wondering if updating the modem firmware, decreases lag, and makes the internet faster

Is this the microsoft updates one?

My Aunt had this happen to her on her Asus laptop. This isn't an important enough driver in my opinion, as well laptop network cards can be picky, that I wouldn't waste your time.

Okay, yha I'd not try the update. Unless you're having issues, I'm thinking the newest driver isn't designed for laptops.
