It is not necessary to clear that specific log. What you want to do is start fresh with your computer.
Is maintain the computer and this is what you do.
When you get to the section about ccleaner, cc will remove logs, temp files etc.
When you are done, your computer will be as good as new (at least the software, we cannot do anything about the hardware)

Steps that I did not notice on the guide include:
Running a scan disc before doing a defrag
Using Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes.
Making System Restore points, at least once a week
Makaing a system Image once a month (varies by user)
Not relying on your A/V common sense, should prevail. You know of many sites can cause a problem.
Do not use any reg cleaning or optimizing software.
Download and use Ccleaner about once every two months. Untick any registry entries.

When you are done, go to run, by the start button (click on the start button). Type %temp%, that will show any remaing temp logs, just delete them
Go to search and type .logs, you will see all the temporary logs remaing any that you do not want you can delete, but its not necessary. You want to be sure of what you are deleting (you can ask us) to be sure its not important.
