Built Custom Computer, Mouse doesnt move stays in the center of the screen on bootup

how am i going to install the driver if i cant move the mouse? anyone know why it is like this? basically i cant do anything but use the keyboard.

the OS isnt a fresh install but its the same mouse he used on that old OS

Sounds like a driver problem, maybe you can install the driver using these instructions:

ill try it but the keyboard driver is iffy too i dont know if ill be able to navigate with it

Unplug the mouse. If wireless turn if off. Boot the computer. Do you get new drivers for the keyboard?
Either way. Turn off the computer, turn on mouse. Now boot. You should get new drivers.
Make sure that automatic upadate is turned on to install and not notify.

tried doing multiple mouses and keyboards and rebooted as u said and it didn't work

Is the windows automatic updater set to install?

New idea. Go to the website of the mouse. Download to a USB drive. Then plug into your computer. You will need a second computer to do this.

Use a usb to ps2 adapter and try.

Have a look in your BIOS, what are the options for USB mice and Keyboards?
If you have a choice go for the BIOS option.
