Two printers stopped working

Can anyone assist on this one ?
We have ( 2 ) Epson Printers R260 approx 2 years plus olde, that have stopped printing approx 1 week apart.
Two red lights flash together every time I turn initiate the printers.
I have tried Microsoft helps, HP PC Help, Epson, even Norton Symantec in attempt to reset Chips or even a System Bios Reset.
Epson NOTORIOUS on having their printers time out as well as waste tanks fill electronically. "BUT WILL NEVER ADMIT IT"
I have reset, unplugged, removed interface cable, removed chips, cleaned cartridge contacts, etc etc.

I really believe in my mini-Geek Heart its a Bios or System setting ... And YES we have also have done a system restore 2x.

Problem on a far back dated RESTORE, is that if I go back to far all of my work on creating DVD and CD presentations will be deleted unless saved to a mobile backup which I would need to purchase.

NEED A MASTER GEEKS HELP!

My CISInks.com Continuous Ink System is considered a self / or auto re-chip system. As of 1/1/2011
No button tab on cartridges to hold back, so say 3 of the CisInks printer geeks.

Yes found that a week or so ago..... Epson recommends having the printer serviced at an Epson Customer Care Center. You may also be able to have the ink pads replaced by an independent service provider and use the Ink Pad Reset Utility to reset the Ink Pad Counter to continue using the printer.... PROBLEM ... Any Epson Repair Rep does not touch the CisInks System once viewed.
I also have the Waste Reset Software that I purchased from OctoInkJet.co.uk
BUT can not use it, since the CisInks Cartridges or Bios Settings ? do not allow printer to turn on work :cry:

Checked the Waste reste site... Epson R260 not listed as one that can use the utility

Same answer as your last post, install a genuine Epson printer cartridge set.

Have you done that yet? Then go from there!

Then I return to using expensive cartridges, as before ?
Can there be ANY CHANCE its a Bios Setting ?:sarc:
Or one of the Utilities may work on a model listed close to the R260 ?

Yes .... have done the one minute several times.
REFILL DIALOGUE Pixs is a bit hard to comprehend TO ME!
Do you see this as laying the cartridges on their sides to eliminate air space, then turnong upright for use ?
I also reset the entire set of 6 cartridges about 3/4" lower and now to exact height level as the printer.
Had used a board to keep any ink debris off my walnut desk.

From reading the pdf the setup pix imply that the ready to use tank is under a vacumm as the level on the left is below the level on the right with the "Bung" open.

Here are a couple Screen Prints .. maybe some assistance to the problem.
If I mistakenly reset to WASTE INK TANK to EUROPEAN
( OctoInkJet.com suggested could have happened ) with EURO setting.
Can this be changed back in the PC Bios ?
Maybe getting closer :(

Any harm on this Russian Reset Utility if not designed for my Epson R260 ?
Or will it just be non functional?

Ran the Russian Utility .. rebooted and get this screen .. Not able to delete by clicking RED X

We have discussed that you should install geniuine Epson printer cartridges, if not only to establish that the printers work correctly but that the issue is in fact with the continuous ink package regardless of the manufacturers claims.

To this end, please post when you have installed the set of Epson inks & whether the printer is functional or not on these cartridges. OK?
