Solved need a lil help opening and installin driver

can any1 explain to me how to install a updated driver? i downloaded a driver that is compatible with the one that i needed, (my speccs dont apply dont apply im on a toshiba laptop) drivers foe the network adapter needed updated, atheros comunicaton:ar5006eg.164 the new ones number is 5007eg, im pretty sure i searched and found the correct one, if u wouldnt mind double checking id ty, came in a zipped file, that needed to be opened with windows powershell, i i couldnt seem to get the file open. any help would appreciated.

says to open the zipped file using windows power shell, but it wont let me, i think im missing something,

ok i followed them instructions and when i doubled clicked the file a window pop up kinda looks like the command prompt window, has red letters in it, but it wont stay up long enough for me to read it just closes

Go back to the website and look for instuctions how to open the zip. You may need special zip software. I dont know.
The zip that you used should have opened it.
Go to the website and download once more to your desktop and try to open it.

i went back and redownloaded tryd to open and the same thing, what program should i use to open? it says windows power shell...
