Hello.
I have 64 bit vista, and recently purchased a firewire ieee 1394a card
I cant get it to work.
I am sure I physically connected it properly.
The error I am coming to says...
"Your computer's system firmware does not include enough information to properly configure and use this device. To use this device, contact your computer manufacturer to obtain a firmware or BIOS update. (Code 35)
Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available."
I am completely clueless on what BIOS or firmware are, or how to install them if I even had a clue which one would solve my problem.
I thought I installed the right thing, then it says that the device wont start.
Do I have the wrong drivers?
I have been searching forums all day and cant find a way to solve the problem.
please help
