Solved HELP! Windows Vista Acer Laptop Trouble...

Hello there!
I have a Windows Vista Acer Laptop, and it seems it's having a little trouble...
After I have owned the Computer for a year, it began to randomly Crash...constantly,(It's been 2 years since it has started this problem) and about 2 days ago, it crashed again and when I turned it back on, It gave me a Blue Screen message:
Power_Driver_State_Failure

Another problem is, my Laptop can't hold a charge...
It has to be plugged in at ALL times....
As soon as I unplug it, the laptop runs out of battery
And I've tried charging it on Power Saver, High Performance, and Balanced Modes...
Are there any ways to fix these 3 issues?

1st Run a hard ware diagnose test to see if there is any hardware issue
2nd The battery is not holding charge because perhaps you have over charge the laptop too much which have damage the lifetime of the battery.. check that with another charger.. might be the charger is faulty as well "which I doubt"

Question:
What do you mean by crash, does it just turn off by itself and then when you switch it back on you get blue screen?
What have you done in the past to fix the crash ?

I meant crashes as, I'm on my Laptop, on the internet, then, it says internet disconected, the screen goes black, and it's been shut off...
Then I turn it back on, and it acts like I shut it down and it returns to normal. So yes, you are correct, it turns off by itself.

Then certain times, it does the same thing, internet disconnected, crash, turn back on, Blue Screen: Driver Power State Failure.


And I have never tried to fix the problem, I don't even know how I would fix it...

Sounds very simular to a problem I had with my HP turned out to be a bad Ac adpater as Theog suggested. Fabe

Uhm....So, I still have the problem....and...it's worse....

I can't run my Computer unless I'm in safe mode (Which I'm using now)
And each time I turn it on, without SafeMode, It crashes, and I get a new Blue Screen......
The 3 I saw today said:
1: Driver Power State Failure, I look at it, I turn off the computer, start to go online, crashes and blue screen #2 starts....
2: It says I need to run Special Pool, whatever that is....it says Crash Dump Complete: 100%, and It shuts off....The next day, I turn it back on, and it says this:
3: I have too much memory on my hard drive..... (I only have half of my Laptop's memory filled), then it scrolls to a new message saying Corrupted Driver, and it says there is a corrupted file...and the Laptop is unstable....

I have no clue on what to do.......I thought it was fixed....

hi.. sorry to say but the laptop is really sick.. what are the amount of programs and files you have on the laptop..
I sugguest you to do a factory restore or a swipe clean windows reinstall..

Uh...oh....


Well for the memory it says that ACER (C : ) 28.3 GB Free of 69.6 GB

For the DATA (D : ) it says 69.5 GB free of 69.6 GB

Is there anyway to fix this, or will I have to buy a new Laptop.......
