Fujitsu Scansnap S500 drivers does not run with Vista 64. Fujitsu knows this and also know the drivers for S510 and S300 will solve the problem, but no success obtaining it,
Dealing with Fujitsu Technical Support (USA) has a lot to be desired. On tech support site, they offer sending the S510 CD. However, since I live in Japan, they said we will refer you to "correct division and you should be contact shortly". No contact.
I pleaded with them...as a working person, how would you feel after buying a scanner for over $500 less than 18 months ago and you contacted the company for a driver CD, which is available, but they would not cooperate to send it. They came back with instructions to download on FTP website, but the User and PW will not work. Now, complete silence, no response. I pleaded with them to send the CD to my USA residence, no response. How about loading it on a file transfer site, no response.
For a first class company, how sad that they cannot and will not take care of a customer, when it is as simple as sending a CD.
