HP F380 Driver error

firstly I LOVE THIS FORUM. (because) somebody helped me about the driver error for my fatal1ty mouse driver when I connect the mouse to my pc it sayas found new hardware and vista doenst install any driver for it since I deleted the INF.CACHE.1 file and everthing is ok now.... but this is not the problem....

Problem is HP Deskjet F380 (f300 series) all-in-one...
when I first installed vista x64 ultimate .. I downloaded vista x64 software for my hp printer and inmstalled it very easliy and used it. BUT after 2 weeks when I open my printer vista says FOUND NEW HARDWARE message and it cant install any driver for hp but the dri,vers and sfotware are FINE what is the problem ? everytime vista says found new hardware and didnt know this hardware .. I try to solve this problem from delete the inf.cache.1 but didnt work for this reason what can I do? I contact hp customer support but they didnt help me very well to solve this problem??? help me???

1) I will receive a e-mail from Microsoft for a hotfix for this problem...
2) and I read something to do... shutdown pc and connect the device and start pc and vista must install the device

I will do these 2 solutions after 8 hour and say the status ... byeee

Another thing to consider, if that doesn't work:

Try uninstalling the printer. Unplug it from your computer. Then you could "Add new printer." Go through all the steps that way. After that is done, plug the printer back into the computer and don't let Vista install it.

I'm not sure how it would work, but that's the way we do alternate drivers, if there isn't a Vista driver. Every time I've done it even a little out of order, I have problems. The link to the instructions for that is below. You've got a driver, so I'd adjust accordingly. If nothing else, it's worth a try.

microsft sent me x86 (i386) file ... hehe but I dont install hotfix another way I will wait for vista sp1.. but now I am going to use your solution... its good to hear I hope it works thank you

opps I forgot.. does this solution let me scan a picture in my printer and send it to my PC ? because printer is allinone

YEAHHH FINALLY I solve the problem.. I delete inf.cache.1 file and I installed hp software without connect hardware and restart windows delete again this file and connect hardware hp will şnstall the driver and use it...now I am very happy I can scan and print
