Laptop starts up with SAFE MODE/ command prompt

Hello there!
Recently, my laptop has been freezing upon startup. Over time it got worse and now it just starts up on Safe Mode and command prompt.

I would appreciate any help and information on what to do to solve this issue.

That is a good idea :)
I performed clean boot by accessing msconfig through command prompt and restarted.
Still no access to desktop, starts up in safe mode and on command prompt...

If you got a good boot using the clean boot procedure. Follow the clean boot instructions and put the startup items back one at a time to find the cause. Once we know the cause it will be easy to solve.

Hey, how are you? Sorry for the late response, the laptop still keeps freezing up.
I'm accessing this laptop through Safe Mode with networking right now...

If it freezes with the clean boot but not in safe mode, sounds like a basic driver.
Go to search by the start button type device manager and in device manager, look for any small yellow markers. If none are there we will update your basic drivers.

Make a system restore point in case we encounter problems.
Then
uninstall the problem drivers.
shut off the computer
boot computer.
