Vista - Wont get past splash screen

It will load in safe mode, however this is then extremely slow and sometimes unresponsive...

Tried loading from last good spot, also safe mode & system restore but nothings worked. Clean boot didn't work either.

Anything else I can try?

I have various restore disc but there from the PC manufacturer, doesn't appear to be a windows disc and the ones i tried wouldn't work.

Once safe mode stops having a fit i'm going to try uninstall pretty much everything and see if that helps...

Well at first i was getting the nvstor32 error, thats seems to have sorted. now its sidebyside, also says i have a bad block on my harddisk... dont know where to go now :(

Sounds like you may have a hard drive prolem, it may have failed. Your computer may have a self diagnostic test. If you can find your manual, run the test. It will diagnose hardware problems.
