Window Explorer has stopped working

Hey People

I have this very annoying problem affecting my laptop. Every time my laptop loads up and is on the desktop, a message box appears saying 'Windows explorer has stopped working' then it restarts almost every minute preventing me from doing anything. I cant access the command prompt or a single thing before it restarts. I've seen the numerous posts on different websites from people having the same problem. I tried starting my laptop in safe mode and it worked for a while, then the same problem started happening again. This is becoming very frustrating since I'm unable to access assignments on my laptop. I would appreciate the help to solve this problem asap.

Try this free tool: ShellExView - Shell Extension Manager For Windows
Disable all non-Microsoft extensions and reboot.

If that fixes the problem, then re-enable ½ of them, reboot and see if the the problem returns
Continue this until you've isolated the problem extension.
Then uninstall it from Control Panel...Programs...Uninstall a program

I had same problem. Tried a number of things based on what people where saying. If tried the solution on you tube but it didn't work. Finally just did a system restore.......which took awhile but it worked. I am not a tech person by any means but this did work for me.
