My pc randomly shut down and will not reboot. My error code is 0xc0000428 I burnt vista start up disk on a blank cd and tried to boot from last known good configuration. I get the message stating that it was complete but I keep getting the same error and message. Any other options I have or do I have to restore vista and if so how do I go about doing that? Thanks...

In the boot options, select "disable driver signature certification enforcement". Does that work?

when you boot up, click on F8 before Windows starts to load. It's the same screen where you get the option to go to Safe Mode.

I found it Is there anything specific I should do it gives me te same options system restore, restore from earlier point in time, etc and it's still te same result

I don't have any more ideas since it didn't boot into Windows when you selected it. As I understand it, you can't get to Safe Mode either.

When in safe mode, can you get to the Device Manager and check for problem devices?
