This dv6700 laptop had a bad hard drive, so I put a new hard drive in and ran the HP system recovery from the discs I had to order from HP. The recovery goes through the hours-long process of installing software and rebooting, then at what seems the end I get a "Recovery Failed" message and this file comes up. I have tried the recovery three times, and twice I got this message; the other time I got a blue screen at the end when windows was trying to boot. I don't understand how it can successfully run for hours like that, rebooting multiple times with no issues, then say the recovery has failed.
If you look toward the end of the log below, there are several failures, but I don't know what to make of them. Thanks for your help.
